ELKIEF is a brand developed by Green Cosmetics, a Moroccan company founded
in Casablanca in 2015, with a clear vision: to create pure, natural products
rooted in tradition, integrity, and innovation.
From the very beginning, Green Cosmetics has been closely involved in the
development of Morocco's legal and regulated hemp industry. In 2017, the
company formally participated in the early stages of regulatory discussions
in Rabat, contributing to a broader movement aimed at establishing a
realistic and sustainable framework for the market.
This vision became reality in 2020, when Morocco introduced legislation to
regulate the cultivation and use of hemp for medical and organic purposes.
In 2021, Green Cosmetics was officially invited to Tangier as one of the
first companies to be granted authorization to operate within this new
legal framework.
As an early license holder, Green Cosmetics holds a unique and honored
position in the development of Morocco's organic hemp industry — with the
responsibility to produce high-quality, ethically sourced products derived
from the Rif region, known for its rich agricultural heritage.
ELKIEF reflects this journey. Each product is crafted with care, using
